Summary:

The Talking TIM webinar series and TMC webinar series are holding a joint even on Wednesday, June 26 at 1:30pm ET.

The webinar will describe current challenges to sharing incident information and identify technologies, tools, and resources that may be procured, developed and/or integrated into existing TMSs. The webinar will describe the operational benefits of these emerging applications, focusing on how they enable more effective exchange of information among different agencies. The webinar will also discuss considerations for effective implementation and effective practices. Lastly, the webinar will highlight agency practices and lessons learned.  

This webinar is part of Traffic Management Center Pooled Fund Study project to share information on traffic management system (TMS) emerging topics and an ongoing series focused on sharing information on emerging traffic management system (TMS) topics being co-sponsored by the National Operations Center of Excellence (NOCoE), Traffic Management Center Pooled Fund Study, and FHWA.

The intent of this webinar is to share information on technologies and tools that can be used to share information quickly and effectively among agencies. The integration of such technologies and tools will improve coordination among agencies leading to faster incident response and clearance times.
