Overview
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Program invited all emergency medical service (EMS), fire and rescue, law enforcement, public works, towing and recovery, transportation, 911 communicators, and other traffic incident response professions to participate in the National Kickoff webinar for CRSW.
Mark Kehrli, FHWA Office of Transportation Operations Director, hosted this webinar which honored traffic incident responders, provided an overview of activities taking place across the country, and connected all responder stakeholders to resources that help them become champions and advocates for responder safety.
The event began with a special message from the FHWA Administrator, Sean McMaster. The webinar also featured the following TIM champions:

- Lieutenant Patrick Kepp, Montgomery County Department of Police
- Todd Leiss, Emergency Responder Safety Institute
- Anne Reshadi, Director of the Bureau of Traffic Operations, Wisconsin Department of Transportation
