The Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) ePrimer consists of 14 modules that provide information about ITS technologies to both professionals and students. Its purpose is to inform them about how ITS is integrated into the planning, design, deployment, and operations of surface transportation systems.
This is the first in the series of 14 modules, explaining how the ITS ePrimer works and including background information about ITS.
