Overview
The purpose of this document is to support the agencies and groups that are beginning the process of rural or statewide Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) deployment planning. Along with the previously published Rural Toolbox (FHWA-OP-01-030), this best practice document guides users through proven processes in order to prepare a rural or statewide ITS deployment plan.
