The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) will host a public AV readiness webinar on infrastructure needed for and impacted by the deployment of AVs. This webinar will cover the following topics:

Interplay between AV technologies, AV sensors, and infrastructure.

Return on investment of AV-ready enhanced infrastructure.
-
Implications of enhanced infrastructure.
The webinar will feature subject matter experts from Applied Research Associates, Gannett Fleming, and Automated Roads and will conclude with an interactive question and answer session. State departments of transportation, infrastructure owner-operators, and original equipment manufacturers play specific roles and have a stake in identifying highway infrastructure elements impacted by AV deployment.
