Cybersecurity for Small and Mid-Size Transit Properties

Start Date:

-

Summary:

This webinar, taking place in advance of the CTAA Expo 2026, will discuss ongoing efforts to integrate cybersecurity into transit systems.

Across the country, transit agencies of every size are navigating the same converging pressures: tightening state and federal cybersecurity requirements; fewer federal resources; growing insurer scrutiny; the adoption of artificial intelligence by employees and cybersecurity criminal; and an increasing number of attacks on critical infrastructure.

This webinar will discuss what began as a cybersecurity compliance pilot with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and six of its transit agency partners, evolved into a replicable, cohort-based governance model that is currently being deployed by the Ohio Transit Risk Pool's (OTRP). You will hear from the executives that made the decision to engage their peers or fund their members participation as well as the professionals implementing this new and innovative model.
